The Norde Filtered Water Pitcher cartridge was independently challenge-tested against 383 contaminants. Water was dosed with each one well above real-world levels, then measured before and after filtration. These are laboratory results, not a promise for every water supply — but you can check every figure below.

The cartridge was tested under controlled laboratory conditions. Sample water was dosed with each contaminant, measured, and passed through the filter; the figures shown are the maximum reduction recorded. Challenge concentrations are set well above the levels normally found in treated tap water, so these results represent performance against a deliberately difficult test rather than a guarantee for any specific supply. Not every contaminant listed has an established standardised test protocol. Actual performance varies with local water chemistry, temperature and filter age, and not all of these contaminants will be present in your water. The pitcher is designed for use with municipally treated tap water that is already microbiologically safe — it is not designed to make unsafe water safe. If your water is of unknown quality, follow the guidance of your local water authority. Norde does not hold NSF certification and does not claim it; “independently tested” and “certified” are not the same thing.

Disinfectants such as chlorine and chloramine are added to tap water to control water-borne pathogens. The disinfection process can also leave residues and form by-products, several of which are regulated for long-term health reasons.
